Sunday Classes: Begin March 19th
[Please note: There are no Nosework I classes this session (formerly Beginner’s Nosework)]
– 9:00a – 10:00a: Nosework IIb
(New extension on Nosework I). This class is the continuation in teamwork and scent skill building of Nosework I. It is a fun way to use your dog’s nose on a playful or competitive level. Learn about the scents used, how to use them, and how to search for them as a team with your dog. You will learn to read your dog’s body language when they catch the scent. Work your way towards trialing!
– 10:10a – 12:00p: Advanced Nosework
This is the class intended for trialing. We do final preparation/polish for trials, work in new situations and areas such as exteriors and vehicles, with the possibility of adding buried scenting as well!

Monday Classes: Begin March 6th
– 5:45-6:30p Advanced Agility with Nancy M.
This is for teams having completed Agility Intermediate class and are moving into competition levels. [Limit 6]
– 6:45p – 7:45p Intermediate Agility with Nancy M
This is for teams who completed Beginning Agility and are going into competition. Reinforces skills learned in Beginning and strengthens the handler/dog communication and teamwork. More practice = more ribbons! [Limit 6]
Tuesday Classes: Begin March 7
– 5:45-6:45p Sports Foundation I (Sports Foundation II TBD) with Nancy M
This is the first 8 week section of the 16 week Foundations set.
Session I will run March/April. We will concentrate on Focus, Body awareness, Motivation, and Introduction to obstacles. Our goal is to help you build a confident, fun, working relationship with your dog and in the process help you create a lifelong bond with your dog. To take Sports Foundation II, you MUST complete Sports Foundation I.
– 7:00p- 7:45p Beginning Agility with Nancy M
To enroll for this class, you must have completed Both Sports Foundation sections, have a reliable recall, sits, downs, and stays as well as being able to work off leash. This class will build off the Foundations sets and transition into sequenced obstacle work. [Limit 9]

Wednesday Classes: Begin March 22
– 6:00-6:45p Beginner Obedience
*NO DOGS THE FIRST NIGHT* This is to minimize distractions for the human handlers as they learn about the class and topics covered during class, including preparation for the coming weeks. This class is for dogs 5months old and older. Every day good manners and responsible dog ownership are taught through basic obedience and manners. In mastering this class with your dog, YOU can be the one people talk about when they say “Your dog is so well behaved! I wish mine….”
Thursday Classes Begin March 23
– 3:00-3:45p Rally UKC Advanced with Betty P and Cathy S
This is for those interested in continuing their training in UKC Rally in the Intermediate, Advanced, and Masters level signs, those wanting to compete (or already competing!) in the United Kennel Club (UKC) Rally Obedience. This involves the dog/handler working together in following a sign-based course. Many course layouts will be experienced. This course is great for building the dog/handler team. [Limit 10]
– 4:00-4:45p Puppy Class with Vicky M
For puppies 2-5 months old by start date of class.
*MUST HAVE FIRST SHOTS COMPLETED!* This class offers a variety of socialization chances from controlled puppy group play to exposure to different sights, sounds, and surfaces. Information on raising puppies, learning effective ways to train your puppy, and teaching your puppy the practical skills such as sit, stay, or coming when called. [Limit 10]
– 5:00-5:45p Rally AKC Advanced with Scott V
This is for those interested in or wanting to learn about competing in American Kennel Club (AKC) Rally Obedience. This involves the dog/handler working together in following a sign-based course. Many course layouts will be experienced. This course is great for building the dog/handler team. [Limit 10]
– 6:00-6:45p Beyond Beginner Obedience with Sno K
This is for those exiting Beginner Obedience Competition class. This class will continue refining the learned skills from Beginner Obedience Competition. This class is also training preparation for obtaining the CGC certification (Canine Good Citizen) if you choose.

Prices for the 8 week sessions: $100 for non-members; $50 for active working members; $25 for Lifetime members
REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR VACCINATION RECORDS AND VERIFICATION OF RABIES VACCINATION WITH YOU TO ORIENTATION. (Puppies under 6 months are exempt from the proof of rabies immunizations. If you do not have your rabies proof with you orientation night, please furnish it at the next class).
